Pantheon tickets in Rome: €7 at the door, and what the rest buys
Thirty-six ways in, with the state price beside each one — plus the three queues at the entrance that nobody writes about.
Rome charges seven euro to walk into the Pantheon. That one number does more work than it looks like it does, because almost everything confusing about buying a ticket here comes from people not knowing it.
The monument has only been ticketed since 3 July 2023. Before that you walked in off the square, as everyone had done for fourteen centuries. The price was five euro until 1 July 2026, when it went to seven; the concession for EU citizens aged 18 to 25 stayed at two. Large parts of the English-speaking web have not caught up. On the most commercial question there is — what does it cost to get in — most of the pages on the first screen still say five euro, and one of them, updated the day before we last checked, says entry is free.
So start from the door. Seven euro gets you through it. Everything above that is somebody's service: a booking, a recorded commentary, a guide who explains the dome, or a person who stands in the queue on your behalf. Some of those are worth paying for. This page is about telling them apart before you pay.
One thing to settle before the list, because it changes how you read every product on it. There is no priority lane at the Pantheon. The Ministry states it plainly on its own page: skip-the-line entry is not available. What a reseller is selling when it writes fast track in a title is a time slot, and occasionally a person who queues instead of you. Both are real things. Neither is a separate door.
