Trastevere Food Tour with Unlimited Refills, Four Hours
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
RomeTwenty-plus tastings across four venues in four hours, and the part that separates this from every other food walk in the quarter: if you want more, you get more. Food and wine are unlimited at the stops for anyone who wants to keep going, which is not how these tours normally work. What is on the list: fresh pasta made on the premises, pizza from the oldest wood-fired oven in Trastevere, balsamic vinegar aged thirty years, truffle, cheese, cured ham, wine and gelato at the end. The group is capped at fifteen. Read the meeting point instructions carefully, because this is where people get it wrong. Do not wait in the middle of Piazza Trilussa. The guide waits outside a place called Trapizzino at Piazza Trilussa 46. Standing in the square facing the staircase with the fountain at the top, walk round to your left, past the green newsstand, and it is directly in front of you. The address listed as the end point, the Fonte della Salute gelateria on Via Cardinale Marmaggi, is the last stop of the tour and not where you meet.
