Twelve Sights of Rome in 12 km by Electric Bike
Twelve kilometres in two and a half hours on a Cannondale electric bike, which is the right tool for a city this size and this hot. The arithmetic is the argument. Twelve kilometres is a long walk and a short ride, and the motor removes the two things that ruin a Roman afternoon: the hills and the heat. The route also uses the alleys, which means you spend the ride in the shade and away from the coach traffic. The stops mix the famous with the ignored. The Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon, certainly. But also Largo Argentina, with four republican temples in an open pit and a cat sanctuary in it, the Theatre of Marcellus, which was the prototype the Colosseum was built from, the Jewish Ghetto, and the Capitoline for the view down over the Forum from Michelangelo's square. - You will cover an area of approximately 7.5 miles (12 km). The difficulty level of the tour is leisure (or intermediate with a child seat or child extension mounted on the bicycle)
- Excepting infants of less than 12 months (who cannot take part in the tour), there is no age minimum or maximum - this tour is suitable for everyone as long as you can ride a bike!
- Infants aged 1-4 years travel on a child seat (with load capacity of up to 49 lbs or 22 kg) and come on the tour free of charge
- For children aged 5-8 years a child extension (child streamliner) is provided
- Children aged 9 and above can autonomously ride on an appropriately sized E-bike
- All participants in the tour are required to wear a helmet (provided for free)
- Minimum of 4 participants applies (total number of participants on tour). There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are only 3 passengers (or less) on the tour. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative for your tour or full refund
