Pizza and Tiramisù Class at Antica Trattoria Agonale
A pizza and tiramisù workshop held on the corner of Piazza Navona, at Antica Trattoria Agonale on Corsia Agonale. The address is worth reading twice. Corsia Agonale is the short passage that cuts through from the square to Corso del Rinascimento, and the name carries the oldest form of the square's own: Circus Agonalis, the competition arena, which is what the Romans called Domitian's stadium before the word wore down into Navona. The restaurant sits on the line of the ancient seating. The class covers two things, and they are the two most exported Italian dishes in the world: pizza, and tiramisù. Both get made by hand, both get eaten afterwards in the restaurant, and drinks and appetisers are included. The operator runs the classes in its own restaurants with its own staff, which is the difference between a workshop and a rented kitchen. Arrive ten minutes early and ask the restaurant staff to take you through to the class.
What's included
- After the lunch, you can ask the waiters either for Coffee or a glass of Limoncello
- You can ask for a glass of wine or a beer near your lunch
- For those not drinking alcohol
