Pasta and Tiramisu at Two O'Clock, a Minute from the Metro
The start time is fixed at 14:00, which suits a day where the morning is already spoken for by the Vatican Museums and you want the afternoon to be sitting down. The meeting point is La Nicchia Cafe on Via Cipro, one minute on foot from Cipro metro station, so you can arrive by underground rather than working out a bus. The class itself is pasta from scratch, made by hand under an instructor who corrects you as you go rather than demonstrating at the front, followed by tiramisu. You drink while you work: fine wine, prosecco or water, your choice. Then you sit down and eat what you made, both courses, in order. You leave with the recipes. The operator runs customer service around the clock before and after the class, which is more useful than it sounds when a booking sits in the middle of a trip that is still being rearranged.
