Pantheon with Reserved Access: Audio Guide or Private Guide
One listing, two products. Either reserved access with a multilingual digital audio guide, walked at your own pace, or the same entry with a licensed local guide. The audio guide option is worth understanding, because the State does not sell an official audio guide for the Pantheon: the commentary here comes from the operator, and it plays on your own phone. If you want a voice in your ear inside the rotunda, this is one of the few ways to get one. The guided option adds two stops after the Pantheon, both a short walk away, and both carry a caveat the operator states plainly. San Luigi dei Francesi and the Caravaggios in the Contarelli Chapel are included, but in high season the stop may be dropped to keep the tour within its scheduled time. The second is the underground of Piazza Navona and the remains of Domitian's stadium, and there the caveat is heavier: the archaeological area is closed to the public, with an official notice posted in four languages and no reopening date announced. Several marketplaces are still selling tickets to it. Ask the operator to confirm what the private option actually enters before you book on that stop alone. Joining details for both options arrive through the Viator chat within 24 hours of the entry time.

Pantheon
The Pantheon, the best preserved building of ancient Rome and the one whose proportions are usually cited as the proof of what Roman architects understood. The dome and the open oculus above it do all the lighting, and the beam moves as the hours pass. A pagan temple that became a Christian basilica, with the artworks and burials of every century since.
Church of St. Louis of the French
PRIVATE OPTION: a short walk to San Luigi dei Francesi for the Caravaggios. The operator includes this stop in the private tour but does not guarantee it in high season: when attendance is heavy it can be dropped to keep the rest of the tour inside its scheduled time.
Stadio di Domiziano - Navona Square Underground
PRIVATE OPTION: on to Piazza Navona and the underground remains of Domitian's stadium beneath it. The archaeological area is currently closed to the public with no announced reopening date, so confirm access with the operator before booking for this stop.
